This workshop provides concrete strategies for faculty developers and trainers who wish to help faculty redesign their courses for blended teaching and learning. A well established and highly successful blended teaching and learning faculty development program is presented from the viewpoint of faculty developers and trainers. The workshop provides guidance regarding program structure, content, and activities as well as general tips and pointers for fostering a successful faculty development experience. Actual workshop materials will be reviewed and discussed. The interactive sessions will help participants address the challenges related to instituting a blended course faculty development program on their own campus and help them to find the next steps needed to get their program up and running.
Every participant will receive a welcome e-mail by noon the day the workshop begins with the workshop URL and an enrollment key that must be entered to access the site.

Workshop Agenda at Glance
Activities begin Wednesday, October 6th. A live synchronous Question and Answer Online Session will be held on Friday of the second week, October 10th, 2pm-3pm ET. All activity is recorded, even the live events, allowing you to watch the events at a later date if you are unable to attend. All workshop content will remain available until the end of the year.

October 1st – October 3rd Activities: Learn Moodle, the workshop's learning management system, and Elluminate Live!, the workshop's web conferencing platform. Watch recorded presentations and begin reviewing guest courses.
October 6th – October 10th Activities: Continue reviewing presentations and ancillary materials; participate in discussion forum with workshop facilitators Alan Aycock, and Tanya Joosten.
A Live Web Conferencing Session is conducted on Friday, October 10 th at 2PM(ET) (Online using Elluminate Live!): facilitated by Alan Aycock, and Tanya Joosten. We will begin the session with an open round of comments from the facilitator and then open the forum up for Q&A and/or presentations/show-and-tell from workshop participants. We will finish with a summary of thoughts from the facilitator. THE SESSIONS WILL BE RECORDED FOR LATERVIEWING AT YOUR CONVENIENCE.
This online workshop can be counted toward the Sloan-C Online Teaching Certificate.
