Online, asynchronous workshops increase the accessibility of training for a geographically dispersed faculty and are able to attract busy faculty who appreciate the flexibility of online delivery. Online workshops can serve as follow-up to base-line online training courses and provide an opportunity for more focused, in-depth topics as well. A workshop certificate program helps provide a systematized path to faculty development and recognition for participants. --
