Papers in this area will focus on how a different institutions have incorporated online learning into their own organizational cultures to meet the needs of various audiences.Faculty Development and Support
Online learning is still in its first generation; it is therefore essential that faculty have access to effective professional development opportunities and appropriate course development support. Likewise, faculty and students do not work in a vacuum. A variety of program support services are required, including technical support, student services, assessment, recruiting, and infrastructure.Faculty Roles and Rewards
Teaching in the online learning environment means more than using new tools and techniques. It can also mean changes in role, revising personal theories about teaching and learning, changed work schedules, and the need for faculty development.Noninstructional Applications
